A shining light, the self-taught keyboardist, songwriter, and singer, Allysha Joy, has been right there the whole time.... keeping pace since her debut release with the 30/70 Collective and constantly reaching towards a deeper vision of modern/neo soul, jazz and RnB music. As the fearless frontwoman of 30/70 with her beautifully honest and raw vocal style, Allysha caught the attention of global tastemaker and worldwide acid-Jazz revivalist, Giles Peterson, among many others, and has since shared stages with legends like Snarky Puppy and Ezra Collective, bringing her electrifying presence to Montreux Jazz Festival and New York WinterJazz, along with a string of incredible releases from Rhythm Section, Brownswood, Gondwana Records and Total Refreshment Centre. Her latest album, The Making of Silk, comes just when we need it in the second half of 2024, showing listeners that love persists through struggle and chaos, if we let it…. so let’s!!!!
